Have you heard that there’s New Life in Christ?

You may be facing tough times in your life but did you know that there’s a loving God who longs to be a part of your life? In Matthew 11:28, Jesus says, “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

If you choose to begin a personal relationship with God you can find a peace that surpasses all understanding as you seek His perfect will for your life.  (Phillippians 4:7)  The Bible says, “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Because of sin, we are separated from God and are spiritually dead.

But because God loves us, He provided a way for us to have a personal relationship with Him. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” God sent His Son, Jesus, who lived a perfect life, to die on the cross as payment for our sin.

By accepting the gift of Jesus and His death for us on the cross, we can have a relationship with Him that is personal and permanent – even death cannot break it. If you are ready to make this choice, simply pray a prayer like this one:

Dear God, I understand I am a sinner, but I believe Jesus died for my sins,

and I now  accept His gift of eternal life. Thank you for forgiving my sins.

Thank You for my new life. From this day on, I choose to follow You and Your will for my life.

If you prayed this prayer you are on your way to a personal relationship with God through His Son, Jesus! If you have questions about salvation and a new life in Christ contact us through email  (newlifebapt@sbcglobal.net), call us at 501-316-1985 – or better yet, we’d love to have you visit one of our services. Have you heard...
